Why

Miniatures are awkward green-screen subjects because chrome, paint, glass, and tiny surface detail catch spill in ways normal keyers do not always handle well. CorridorKey exists because standard tools were not giving clean enough results on practical miniature surfaces.

What It Does

The pipeline combines segmentation hints, matte refinement, and a custom despill pass. The useful version runs from the command line on the Mac, processes real plates, and keeps the workflow repeatable instead of turning every shot into a manual rescue job.

Where It Is

The tool is still a prototype, but it has passed enough tests to become part of the production path. The next useful features are conservative and aggressive refine profiles, per-shot quality scoring, and stronger live preview feedback.
